Making Peace With The Ecomony

On the minds of many Americans is the U.S. economy.  People living in the U.S. have been accustomed to doing relatively well in the working out of their personal finances for decades because the land of opportunity continued to churn out opportunity relative to other countries around the world.  While there is significant homelessness in every state across the country that gives the appearance of people not doing so well, few people in this country miss more than one or two meals. In some cases, unsheltered people are over-weight because of the abundance of food made available to them – albeit many options are unhealthy.  Living on American streets looks like a feast to people coming from less prosperous countries.

Are people really worried about inflation or whether or not the economy will fail?  Or are people worried about losing what they have been accustomed to in terms of their lifestyles?  Or perhaps even both?  While more people voted in 2024 for tariffs, illegal immigration enforcement, and closing the Department of Education over staying the course and “we’re not going back,” a dull blunt object panic has set in on both sides of the political spectrum.  No one is sure anymore what will happen.  This is the very reason why I pray for an intervention from GOD, who will not allow us to be tested beyond what we are able to endure, but with whatever we encounter contemporaneously will provide for us a way of escape. That piece information is found in 1 Corinthians 10 with eased reading in the New Living Translation Bible.

Permit me to offer another piece of advice based on a principle the EZ2GET2.Church was founded upon.  Put simply, the EZ2GET2.Church is a place to come to for uninterrupted inspiration and encouragement 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  We can all be the beneficiaries of GOD’s promises of peace in our minds and hearts.  Worrying about the economy has never been and currently is not going to make the economic woes we’re experiencing with the leveling of our 401k retirements and threats to Social Security go away.  Worrying never changed anything that discipline and determination could not already handle.  GOD never intended that we should be a slave to anxiety.  Anxiety and/or fear is exhausting and is the most useless of all human emotions and responses to external influences.  GOD has promised to grant us peace in Isaiah 26:3 as well as in Philippians 4:6-7.

Let me tell you how the pastors of the EZ2GET2.Church can be resourceful to you.  Pastors Ulis Redic, Clifford Cheathon, Marcus Vanhook, Samuel Green, Eric Morris, Andre Green, Jesse Mason, Charles Stewart, Glen Wyatt and Dwayne Fisher welcome you to leave a prayer request.  Go to their live streaming sites to call or leave a message.  Or you can go to the Prayer Request page and leave your information via email.

Our prayer for you in Jesus’ name is that you will ask GOD for divine guidance and the relief He gives through His loving grace. That He would illuminate for you a path that is straight and show you the way forward through wisdom and truth in this dark world.  Moreover, we pray that He grant you the discernment to make the right choices and the insight to see the opportunities hidden within things that appear to be challenges.  Finally, we pray that you ask GOD for forgiveness from sin and for the affirmation of salvation by His Holy Spirit.  On your behalf we asked this in Jesus name. Amen.
